The Lake District is in North West England. And not in Wales (Carla) or Scotland (Aldie)… And thats where we were over Christmas. If you’re wondering why we look cold in some pictures, it’s purely because we were cold. Some things in life have such wonderfully simple explanations.
One of those examples of looking cold

See the top of the cliff behind Carin… That’s where we’re headed…

One hour later – we were there… And the sun came out. What fun.

Carin’s favourite lake: Ullswater

Hmmm frozen lake = frozen fingers.

Boat ride! We were the only people on top, sole adventurers braving the cold.

Thank heavens we had hot chocolate.

Thats frost – not snow. It doesn’t melt during the day, and gets nice & slippery.

Carin says I look arrogant, I just think I look amazing.
