16 – 18 May 2008, Minehead, UK. We took a really spiffy Vanilla Spits revamped VW spiltscreen van all the way West, to see some really cool bands strut their stuff… The drive took about 8 hours from Brighton, which should actually have taken about 3. Not exactly speedy. But we got there nonetheless. Bands we saw includedMono, Envy, The National, Animal Collective, Iron & Wine, Battles, Eluvium, World’s End Girlfried, Beach House, Stars of the lid & Explosions in the Sky. Hmmmm…

We took one morning to drive around the area, and went to explore a really nice little town called Dunster.
